The 54th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) F.Y 2023-24 was held under the Chairmanship of Chairman P&D Board Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan and approved the five development schemes of Roads and SHC&ME sector with an estimated cost of Rs 6252.698 million
The approved schemes are as follows:
1) Construction of Arifwala Bypass, Length=11.80 km, District Pakpattan at the cost of Rs 774.204 million
2) Program for Provision of Bio Medical and Non-Bio Medical Equipment in Tertiary Care Hospitals in Punjab at the cost of Rs 1611.775 million
3) Program for Provision of Missing Facilities in Tertiary Care Hospital, in Punjab at the cost of Rs 1998 million
4) Program for Revamping OPD Blocks in Tertiary Care Hospitals in Punjab (Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital, DG Khan) at the cost of Rs 1274.796 million
5) Program for Strategic Transformation/Revamping of old Blocks of ex- DHQs (Rahim Yar Khan, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Rawalpindi) at the cost of Rs 593.923 million
Secretary P&D Board Dr Asif Tufail, Chief Economist Mr Nasir Iqbal Malik, Members P&D Board, Head of relevant deptts and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments attended the meeting.
