The PDWP approves eight development schemes worth of Rs 47 Billions

 
The 2nd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) F.Y 2024-25 was held under the Chairmanship of Chairman P&D Board Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan and approved eight development schemes of Heath, and Roads sectors with an estimated cost of Rs 47107 Million
The approved schemes are as follows:
1) Provision of equipment Furniture's and Fixtures of BHUs and RHCS at the cost of Rs 10000 million
2) Program for Revamping of 552 BHUs of North and Central Punjab at the cost of Rs 10000 million
3) Program for Revamping of 581 BHUs of South Punjab (Phase-I) at the cost of Rs 10000 million
4) Program for Revamping of 220 RHCS (Phase-I) at the cost of Rs 10000 million
5) Rehabilitation of Gujranwala Alipur Qadirabad Road (Alipur Chowk To Kalaske) Length 14 km district Gujranwala at the cost of Rs 2325 million
6) Rehabilitation / Improvement Wazirabad Daska Road, (Remaining Portion Km No.18.00 To 25.20) Length 7.20 Km District Sialkot at the cost of Rs 619 million
7) Rehabilitation / Improvement of alternate Route to Slalkot Airport From Chand Bagh Society (Old Airport Road) to Sial Airport including Link to Channi Gondal Chowk, Length 16.00 Km District Sialkot at the cost of Rs 1947 million
8) Rehabilitation of road from Bhakkar Behal road upto District Boundry Layyah Length 27 Km District Bhakkar at the cost of Rs 2216 million
Secretary P&D Board Dr Asif Tufail, Chief Economist Mr Nasir Iqbal Malik, Members P&D Board, Head of relevant depts and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments attended the meeting.
