Chairman P&D Board, Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, greeted JICA's Senior Vice President, Ms. Sachiko Imoto, and other delegates from JICA.
Both sides expressed gratitude for long-term cooperation.
Senior Vice President JICA, Ms. Sachiko Imoto, said Japan and Pakistan have healthy bilateral economic relationships and, over the past six decades, have been successful development partners, recognizing Punjab's development needs and priorities. She said, JICA wants to strengthen this relationship by working together on new avenues.
Chairman P&D Board, Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, appreciated the role of JICA in eliminating poverty and raising the standards of living of the common man. He said there are many chances of exploring new avenues to work together, such as health,education, climate change, water supply and sanitation, agriculture, capacity building, technical education, etc.
He illustrates that Government of Punjab values its decades-long relationship with JICA.
