The GIZ,German International Cooperation team met with Chairman P&D Board, Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, to enhance adaptive social protection in Punjab.
Key discussions focused on improving access for vulnerable groups, boosting data interoperability through the Punjab Socio-economic Registry, and promoting anticipatory action in disaster risk management.
It was decided in the meeting that a Project Steering Committee will be established at the P&D Board to ensure effective implementation of these initiatives, aiming to build climate resilience and support inclusive social protection.
