The meeting aimed at aligning the Bureau of Statistics efforts with robust statistical standards and enhancing its institutional capacity.
The Chair stressed that from data collection to publication, strong data governance is essential to ensure accuracy, transparency, and reliability in provincial statistics.
Discussions centered on BOS's objectives, legal framework, and the need for system-wide coordination to produce timely and credible data for informed policymaking.
