The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved three development schemes of Health & Urban Development Sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 8556.359 Million.
These schemes were approved in the 36th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included:
- Purchase of Ventilators and ICU Beds with Basic ICU Equipment in All Teaching Hospitals in Punjab at the cost of PKR. 760.850 Million
- Structural road plan from Expo Center to Ring Road (Parallel to Canal Bank Road), Lahore at the cost of PKR. 4825.347 Million
- Construction of structural road from Expo Center to Khayban-e-Jinnah, Lahore at the cost of PKR. 2970.162 Million
