The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved three development schemes of Road Sector with an estimated cost of PKR. 1758.091 Million.
These schemes were approved in the 35th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included:
- Rehabilitation of Nankana-Mangtanwala Road, length: 17.00 km, Nankana Sahib (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 496.563
- Dualization of road from Motorway Interchange Jang Bahtar to Wah, length: 3.00 km, Taxila, Rawalpindi (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 482.817 Million
- Construction of overhead bridge at Depalpur Chowk, Okara (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 778.711 Million
