The Punjab PDWP Approved Seven Development Schemes of Various Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved seven development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 13936.227 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 31st meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided by the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.       

The approved development schemes included:

  • Third Party Evaluation of Literacy Interventions (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 26.795 Million
  • Introduction of Mobile Health Units Tehsil Level (Outsource) (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 835.889 Million
  • Establishment of Institute of Urology and Transplantation, Rawalpindi (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 4071.919 Million
  • Establishment of medical stores for supply chain of medicines in Punjab at the cost of PKR. 1138.260 Million
  • Dualization of Sialkot-Eminabad Road Upto Dharam Kot length: 37.20 km (Phase-I km No. 0/0 to 7/20, length: 7.20 km) District Sialkot (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 1121.174 Million
  • Dualization of Chiniot Faisalabad Road (Phase-I) length: 10 km, District Chiniot at the cost of PKR. 3215.570 Million
  • Establishment of hepatities clinic and G-I departments in all tertiary case hospitals in Punjab at the cost of PKR. 3526.620 Million
