The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved two schemes of development sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 1361.627 Million.
These schemes were approved in the 30th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided by the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included:
- Feasibility Study for Desert Tourism in the Cholistan (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 9.279 Million
- Remodeling of Nikki Deg Drain R.D 0+000-233+000, District Sheikhupura & Gujranwala at the cost of PKR. 1352.348 Million
