The Punjab PDWP Approved Five Development Schemes of Various Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved five development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 12152.032 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 30th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2018-19 presided by the Chairman P&D Habib ur Rehman Gilani. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries of concerned departments and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.

The approved development schemes included:

  • Provision of missing specialties for up-gradation of DHQ Hospital into Teaching Hospital D.G. Khan (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 5,482.000 Million
  • Establishment of 200 bedded Mother & Child Hospital and Nursing College, District Mianwali at the cost of PKR. 4,074.066 Million
  • Dualization of Taxila to HMC Farooqia Road, length: 10.80 km, Tehsil Taxila, District Rawalpindi at the cost of PKR. 1,117.000 Million
  • Dualization of T.H.A.T Road from Jahania Chowk to Hattian via Motorway Interchange length: 17.60 km, Attock (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 991.683 Million
  • Construction of Arifwala Bypass, length: 11.80 km, Pakpattan (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 487.283 Million
