The Punjab PDWP Approved Two Development Schemes of Urban Development and Tourism Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved two development schemes of Urban Development and Tourism Sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 544.843 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 21st meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2019-20 presided by the Chairman P&D Board Habib-ur-Rehman Gilani. Provincial Secretary P&D Imran Sikandar Baloch, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries of concerned departments, Assistant Chief Coordination Syed Naveed Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.

The approved development schemes included:

  • Comprehensive Water Supply Scheme for Kakashan Colony, Janjua Town, Sanjole Estate, Mohammadi Colony, Khayaban-e-Jinnah, Bank Colony and Adjoining Areas in Rawalpindi at the cost of PKR. 485.463 Million
  • Studies to implement the recommendation of Reactive Monitoring Mission (UNESCO/ICOMOS) for Shalamar Gardens, Lahore (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 59.380 Million
