The Planning and Development Board, led by Chairman Hamed Yakoob Sheikh comprehensive review meeting with key development partner Asian Development Bank to review progress, improve implementation of food and water security by means of introduction and development of water courses for sustainable agriculture. The board also reviewed the project feasibility that will help to increase the agricultural production, alleviation of poverty, development of social structure and markets in the under developed areas of Punjab.
The delegation was led by N. Totsuka, Mission Leader and Principal Portfolio Management Specialist, Y. Shibuya, Senior Social Development Specialist ADB and along with Chairman Secretary P&D, relevant administrative secretaries of departments were also present in the meeting.
