The Punjab PDWP Approved Five Development Schemes of Various Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved five development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 3543.124 Million.

These schemes were approved in the special meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided by the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.       

The approved development schemes included:

  • Third Party Validation (TPV) of Major Development Projects (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 60.00 Million
  • Provision of Missing Infrastructure at Burewala Campus of UAF at the cost of PKR. 663.930 Million
  • Widening/improvement of road from Hafizabad (Jinnah Chowk) to Pindi Bhattian Interchange i/c construction of Jalalpur Bahttian By-Pass, lenght: 51.45 kms, Hafizabad (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 848.668 Million
  • Rehabilitation of Daska-Pasrur Road length: 32.26 km District Sialkot (FERRP) (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 1369.641 Million
  • Construction of flyover at Feroza Railway Station, length: 2824.25 Rft, District R.Y. Khan (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 600.885 Million
