The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved four development schemes of Health and Local Government Sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 1760.949 Million.
These schemes were approved in the 48th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included:
- Purchase of Mobile Health Units at the cost of PKR. 800.000 Million
- Establishment of Multi Sectoral Nutrition Centre (MSNC) at Planning & Development Department (P&D) Punjab (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 547.949 Million
- Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM), consultant for Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Program (PICIIP) (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 382.8 Million
- Third Party Validation (TPV) for Punjab Local Government Development Package (LGDP) (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 30.20 Million
