The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved development scheme of Road sector with an estimated cost of PKR. 825.488 Million.
The scheme was approved in the 28th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. All members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development scheme included:
- Widening/improvement of Rawalpindi Chakri Road (Mohra Chapri) to Motorway Interchange (TST Road 24’ wide with 4’ treated shoulder) length: 37 km Tehsil and District Rawalpindi (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 825.488 Million
