The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved three development schemes of Regional Planning, Education & Public Building Sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 9527.7 Million.
These schemes were approved in the 23rd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included:
- Southern Punjab Poverty Alleviation Project (SPPAP)-IFAD Assisted (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 7565.780 Million
- Teacher’s Training Program at the cost of PKR. 584.765 Million
- Construction of Training Laboratory at Punjab Forensic Science Agency, Lahore at the cost of PKR. 1377.155 Million
