The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved three development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 2956.014 Million.
These schemes were approved in the 74th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17 presided by the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.
Provincial Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included:
- Construction of Underpass at Sheikhupura Gujranwala Road and Sheikhupura Hafizabad Road, Sheikhupura at the cost of PKR. 1284.600 Million
- Construction of Waste Water Treatment Plants at South West (Babu Sabu) and Northeast (Mehmood Booti NE-I and Shadbagh NE-II) Lahore (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 41.570 Million
- Dualization of road from Chunian to Jamber Morr (N-5) length: 21.00 km, District Kasur at the cost of PKR. 1629.844 Milion
