The PDWP Approved Three Development Schemes of Various Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved three development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 12914.502 million.

The scheme was approved in the 11th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

Secretary P&DD Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.      

According to Spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included: 

  • Scheme of Road Sector titled Repair and Rehabilitation of road from Silanwali to Chak No. 58/Janubi via 119 More, 126/SB length: 39.80 km, District Sargodha (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 1034.869 Million
  • Schemes of Health Sector included Integrated Reproductive Maternal Newborn & Child Health & Nutrition Program at the cost of PKR. 9882.560 Million
  • Prevention and Control of Hepatitis B&C in Punjab at the cost of PKR. 1997.073 Million
