Special PDWP Approved Five Development Schemes of Various Development Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved five development schemes of Development Sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 21628.242 million.

These schemes were approved in the meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2015-16 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.       

According to spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included:

  • Establishment including civil works, procurement, installation and maintenance of 12 Permanent and 36 mobile weighing stations under Axle Load Management Regime in Punjab at the cost of PKR. 2817.19 Million
  • Construction of Khadam-e-Punjab Rural Roads Program (KPRRP), Phase-III in Punjab Highways Department, North Zone at the cost of PKR. 1690.064 Million
  • Rehabilitation of Khadam-e-Punjab Rural Roads Program (KPRRP), Phase-III in Punjab Highways Department, North Zone at the cost of PKR. 8673.448 Million
  • Rehabilitation/widening of 10’-12’ Roads under “Khadam-e-Punjab Rural Roads Program (KPRRP), Phase-III at the cost of PKR. 7235.402 Million
  • Construction of 12’ Roads under “Khadam-E-Punjab Rural Roads Program (KPRRP), Phase-III at the cost of PKR. 1212.138 Million
