The PDWP Approved Four Development Schemes of Various Development Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved four development schemes of various development sector with an estimated cost of PKR. 1393.93 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 22nd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2015-16 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Provincial Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.

According to Spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included:

  • Construction of infrastructure of CTD Punjab: construction of Regional Office CTD, Sargodha at the cost of PKR. 317.133 Million
  • Strengthening of Emergency Services Academy in Lahore, Punjab at the cost of PKR. 499.797 Million
  • Establishment of 60 bedded THQ Hospital at Raiwind Lahore at the cost of PKR. 337.000 Million
  • Replacement of two angiography machines at Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Lahore at the cost of PKR. 240.000 Million
