The PDWP Approved Six Development Schemes of Various Development Sectors

The Provincial Development Working Party Punjab approved six development schemes of various development Sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 1036.280 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 7th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2015-16 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Irfan Elahi. Provincial Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.

According to spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included:

  • Enhancing beef production in Punjab-Phase-II at the cost of PKR. 292.885 Million
  • Conservation, development and propagation of Dhani, Lohani and Dajal Breeds of Cattle in Punjab at the cost of PKR. 54.461 Million
  • Feasibility Studies for Establishment of Aquaculture Processing Zone under PPP Mode (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 30.840 Million
  • Promotion of alternate energy for command area development of mini dams/ponds completed on Potohar Region at the cost of PKR. 211.000 Million
  • Rain Water Harvesting Project for all villages in Potohar Area By Abad (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 213.400 Million
  • Establishment of Model Cattle Market Bypass Road Chichawatni at the cost of PKR. 233.694 Million
