The Punjab Government on Friday has approved two development schemes of Irrigation and Energy sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 245.239 Million.
These schemes were approved in the special meeting of Provincial Development working Party of current fiscal year 2013-14 presided over by the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman, Muhammad Irfan Elahi. Punjab Secretary P&D Arif Anwar Baloch, all members of the Planning & Development Board, provincial secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included:
- Canal Water Supply for Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park Lal Sohanra, District Bahawalpur at the cost of PKR. 152.556 Million
- Preparation of master plan and feasibility report of the Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park, Lal Shohanra Park, Bahawalpur (Amended PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 92.683 Million
