Chairman P&D Board, Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, chaired a meeting regarding the Punjab Clean Air Program (PCAP).
The Chair examined the proposed allocations of funds for the respective departments, including Transport, Environment, Agriculture, and the Punjab Small Industries Corporation in relation to this PCAP.
The Chair said that Government of Punjab is taking action on the pressing problem of Smog to provide clean air to all the citizens.
The Chair further stated that the PCAP program will be proved a landmark initiative
to reduce climate hazards. He said, we should do our best to make this program successful.
Secretary P&D Board Dr. Asif Tufail, Secretary Transport Mr. Ahmad Javed Qazi, Secretary of Environment Mr. Raja Jahangir Anwar, Chief Economist Mr. Masood Anwar, MD PSIC Ms. Saira Omar, Chief Environment Ms. Saba Asghar, and other concerned officers participated.
