In its 49th meeting of the fiscal year 2024-25, the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved Ten development schemes amounting to Rs. 53,192.981 million, under the chairmanship of Chairman P&D Board, Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan.
The approved schemes include:
1. Pilot Program for Hub & Spoke Model at Zahir Pir, Rahim Yar Khan, at a cost of Rs. 3,896.488 million
2. Program for Strategic Transformation/Revamping of Selected Blocks of Tertiary Care Facilities (Holy Family Hospital, Rawalpindi) at a cost of Rs. 3,607.819 million
3. Establishment of 200-Bedded Mother & Child Hospital at Ghalla Godam, Multan, at a cost of Rs. 7,415.438 million
4. Establishment of Sahiwal Institute of Cardiology in the building of Rehmat-ul-lil-Aalamin Block at a cost of Rs. 1,252.143 million
5. Establishment of Cath Labs at Selected DHQs and Development of Allied Facilities in existing buildings at a cost of Rs. 2,380.965 million
6. Establishment of 200-Bedded Mother & Child Hospital in District Attock at a cost of Rs. 7,822.610 million
7. Establishment of 200-Bedded Mother & Child Hospital in District Layyah at a cost of Rs. 7,712.811 million
8. Establishment of 200-Bedded Mother & Child Hospital in District Bahawalnagar at a cost of Rs. 8,580.210 million
9. Establishment of 200-Bedded Mother & Child Hospital and Nursing College in District Mianwali at a cost of Rs. 8,624.497 million
10. Replacement of Outlived Trunk Sewer from Shouq Chowk to Shaukat Khanum at Main Khayaban-E-Firdousi, Johar Town, Lahore, at a cost of Rs. 1,900 million
