In the 53rd meeting of the current fiscal year 2024-25, the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), under the chairmanship of the Chairman P&D Board, Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, approved five development schemes totaling Rs 7,168.226 million.
The approved schemes include:
1. Improvement and Extension of the Water Supply System in Bahawalnagar City at a cost of Rs 675.480 million.
2. Improvement and Extension of the Sewerage System in Bahawalnagar City at a cost of Rs 1,602.83 million.
3. Comprehensive Sewerage System in MC Hafizabad at a cost of Rs 1,744.020 million.
4. Comprehensive Sewerage System in Kot Addu City at a cost of Rs 1,199.320 million.
5. Construction of a Sewerage System and Waste Water Treatment Plant for the South Eastern Areas of Wazirabad City at a cost of Rs 1,946.200 million.
The meeting was attended by Secretary P&D Board Dr. Asif Tufail, members of the P&D Board, and other senior officers.
