A wrap-up meeting was held with the Asian Development Bank’s Loan Review and Reconnaissance Mission, chaired by Secretary Planning and Development Board. Dr. Asif Tufail. Senior Water Resources Specialist and Mission Leader of the Agriculture, Food, Nature, and Rural Development (AFNR) Sector Office Mr. Xueliang Cai led the mission. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the progress of the Project Readiness Financing (PRF) for the Punjab Water Resources Management Project and the upcoming Hill Torrents Management Project. The meeting provided a detailed review of the current status of PRF implementation, highlighting key issues and challenges encountered during the process. Updates were also provided on the progress of the Hill Torrents Management Project under the PRF framework. Additionally, a comprehensive update was given on the supporting services under Technical Assistance, which focuses on preparing climate-resilient agriculture and natural resource development projects. Member Water Mr. Mohsin Abbas Shakir, Chief Irrigation, Mr. Hafiz Ijaz, and representatives from other concerned departments participated.
