A briefing session on the implementation of the Climate Public Investment Management Assessment (C-PIMA) was held today at the Planning & Development Board, chaired by Secretary P&D Board, Dr. Asif Tufail. The session organized in collaboration with the Sub-National Governance (SNG) Program focused on enhancing climate governance, risk analysis, and project appraisal in public investments. The Chair highlighted that the C-PIMA framework is a crucial component of the Punjab Public Financial Management (PFM) Act, 2022, ensures that public investments align with climate resilience and sustainability goals. Representatives from the SNG Program provided insights into the implementation of C-PIMA, emphasized its role in strengthening Punjab’s climate-focused public investment strategies.
