The PDWP Approves Eight Development Schemes Worth Over Rs 57 Billion

 

In its 70th meeting of the FY 2024-25, the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), chaired by Chairman P&D Board Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, approved eight major development schemes amounting to Rs 57.38 billion.

Approved Schemes Include:

✅ CM Punjab Laptop Program – Rs 27 billion

✅ Establishment of PERA Enforcement Stations – Rs 9.59 billion

✅ Construction of Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) Headquarters, Lahore – Rs 4.41 billion

✅ Construction of Multi-Story Courts for AD&SJs in Sheikhupura – Rs 1.02 billion

✅ Establishment of Material Testing Labs (Gujranwala & Sialkot) in collaboration with the Urban Unit – Rs 1.73 billion

✅ Establishment of Aquaculture Malls in Punjab – Rs 2.16 billion

✅ Establishment of the University of Child Health Sciences, Lahore – Rs 9.17 billion

✅ Revamping of OPD Blocks in Tertiary Hospitals in Punjab – Rs 2.26 billion
