The P&D Board continues its efforts to align development planning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Punjab SDGs Support Unit and Punjab Resource Management & Policy Unit are conducting training workshops to integrate SDG priorities into sectoral strategies. On the second day, discussions focused on the Production & Service and Infrastructure sectors. Member Health P&D Board Mr. Shafaat Ali emphasized whole-of-government policy integration and institutional resilience to accelerate sustainable development. The sessions engaged senior officers, strengthened policy dialogue, and reviewed global and domestic SDGs dashboards for progress tracking. Chief Economist P&D Board, Mr. Masood Anwar, highlighted that these sessions will help sectors align development schemes with SDGs targets. Notable attendees included Director PCSW (Women Development Department) Waheed Iqbal, Additional Secretary Mines & Minerals Naeem Ullah Bhatti, Additional Secretary L&DD Usman Tahir, Additional Secretary Transport Nadia Shafiq, Director M&M Ejaz Hadayat, Deputy Secretary Finance Laraib Aslam, and other officers from relevant departments.
