Meeting to align the province’s Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) projects with the national Uraan Pakistan Program

The Planning & Development Board, Punjab, held a high-level meeting to align the province’s Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) projects with the national Uraan Pakistan Program, a transformative initiative launched by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Chief Economist P&D Board, Mr. Masood Anwar, chaired the meeting, which brought together the stakeholders of the Punjab government. Representatives from the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives also participated virtually, presenting the program’s goals, objectives, and targets. The Chair discussed cost-sharing mechanisms between the federal and provincial governments to ensure the effective implementation of development projects under the SEs framework—Export, E-Pakistan, Environment, Energy, and Equity. He emphasized that this strategic coordination aims to accelerate sustainable and inclusive economic growth in Punjab, aligning with the broader national vision of Uraan Pakistan.
