A high-level consultative session was held at the P&D Board, Lahore, chaired by Chairman P&D Board Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, to explore the transformative potential of PakSat-2—Pakistan’s next-generation GEO satellite. With key representatives from SUPARCO, EPD, Agriculture, Transport, PITB, and PDMA in attendance, the session focused on leveraging satellite technology to enhance communication, climate research, agriculture, disaster management, and public service delivery. Chairman P&D Board stated, “Satellite communication is a strategic asset. PakSat-2 will boost Punjab’s digital infrastructure and national resilience.” This collaboration aims to unlock innovation and accelerate progress toward a smarter, digitally empowered Punjab.
