Secretary P&D Board Dr. Asif Tufail chaired a meeting to advance collaboration with the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES) under the Punjab Climate Observatory Project (PCOP). The initiative aims to enhance atmospheric monitoring capabilities in Punjab through the development of advanced climate observatories and data-driven strategies. The Chair stressed that international collaboration is vital, the outcomes must lead to innovative, actionable projects avoiding duplication and directly addressing climate impacts across Punjab. Reps of EPD, Urban Unit, PGDP and others concerned participated.
