Meeting Regarding Punjab Climate Observatory Program held under the Chairmanship of Secretary P&D Board Dr Asif Tufail at P&D Complex, Lahore. The program aims to strengthen both national and international partnerships in the field of climate change. By fostering collaboration with global and local stakeholders, the initiative seeks to enhance Punjab’s capacity to respond effectively to environmental challenges and more. Secretary Planning & Development Board, Dr. Asif Tufail stressed the urgency of addressing the province’s worsening climate impacts. During the meeting the Chair discussed the thematic areas of the program and shared its roadmap for implementation. “This initiative is a proactive step to safeguard Punjab’s environment and the health of its people,” said the Chair. The Chair also highlighted concerns to make the program more effective.
