Member LG/UD Mr. Khawar Kamal chaired a meeting to review progress of the Lahore Wastewater and Drainage Management Project. Project Team Leader Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), Mr. Edzwan Redza Anwar, joined the meeting virtually. The components discussed: Construction of Surface Water Treatment Plant (SWTP) at BRBD Canal, near Ravi Syphon, Lahore Laying of a sewerage system from Larech Colony to Gulshan-e-Ravi using trenchless technology 📊 The Chair said the concerns to adherence the AIIB guidelines and stressed timely execution of the project due to its critical public importance.
