The PDWP Approves Five Major Development Schemes Worth Over Rs. 16.75 Billion!

In its 85th meeting for FY 2024–25, chaired by Chairman P&D Board Dr. Naeem Rauf, the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) gave the green light to five development schemes aimed at enhancing infrastructure, healthcare, education, and urban innovation across Punjab. Approved Schemes Include: 1️⃣ Provision of infrastructure & academic facilities – Punjab University of Technology, Rasul, M.B.Din Rs. 9.79 billion 2️⃣ Strategic revamping of old DHQ blocks – Gujranwala Rs. 1.09 billion 3️⃣ Project Readiness Financing for Punjab Intermediate Cities Rs. 4.77 billion 4️⃣ Replacement of obsolete equipment – PFSA Rs. 1.01 billion 5️⃣ PC-II Smart City Lahore (Phase-I) Rs. 70 million The meeting was attended by Secretary P&D Board Mr. Rafaqat Ali, Chief Economist Mr. Masood Anwar, members of the P&D Board, and other senior officials. 🌟 These initiatives mark significant progress in transforming Punjab's infrastructure and public services!
