The 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 (𝐏𝐒𝐂) 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 (𝐍𝐇𝐒𝐏) was held under the chairmanship of Chairman Planning & Development Board Dr. Naeem Rauf. The project aims to strengthen the equitable delivery and quality of essential health services at the primary healthcare level in support of Universal Health Coverage. The agenda items discussed during the meeting included: ✅ Progress review of NHSP ✅ Restructuring of NHSP and revision of the PC-I / Technical Assistance component ✅ Approval of the Business Plan for FY 2025–26 The Chair approved the agenda items and emphasized that strategic planning and enhanced implementation must ensure improved health outcomes effectively reach the public. Participants included Member Health P&D Mr. Shafaat Ali, Special Secretary (Development, Finance & Reforms) Mr. Barak Ullah Khan, Senior Chief Health Ms. Uzma Hafeez, Additional Secretary (Vertical Programs) Mr. Jahanzeb Hussain, Project Director of the Expanded Program on Immunization Dr. Samra Khurram, and other relevant stakeholders.
