Secretary P&D Board, Mr. Rafaqat Ali, convened a meeting to deliberate on future interventions in Punjab's Agri-Food and Irrigation Sectors, as proposed by the World Bank. The meeting focused on enhancing agricultural productivity, improving water efficiency, and ensuring sustainable development for food security in the province. The Chair stressed that the initiative holds significant potential to improve the lives of farmers. Therefore, he directed the concerned departments to come up with solid proposals for the respective projects in the upcoming meeting, which will be held in two weeks.
