𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐮𝐧𝐣𝐚𝐛 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭! The 19th PDWP meeting CFY 2025–26, chaired by Dr. Naeem Rauf, Chairman P&D Board Punjab, approved 15 development schemes worth Rs 96 billion. Highlights of Approved Schemes: 🕌 Religious Tourism: Conservation and preservation of Gurdwaras, Churches, and Mandirs – Special Initiative (Rs 1,500 million). 💧 Punjab Development Program: Improvement of sewerage and stormwater drainage facilities in Khanewal, Kamoki, Vehari, and Wazirabad (Rs 22,475.136 million). 🏘️ Model Villages: Establishment of Model Villages (Misali Gaon) through improved municipal services in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Gujrat, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, and Sahiwal (Rs 71,719.821 million). The meeting was attended by senior officers, including Secretary P&D Board Mr. Rafaqat Ali, Special Secretary Local Govt Ms. Asia Gul, Chief Economist Mr. Masood Anwar and members P&DB.
