A wrap-up meeting of the World Bank’s Mid-Term Review Mission for PFPP was held under the chairmanship of Secretary P&D Board, Mr. Rafaqat Ali. The World Bank Mission, headed by Senior Health Economist Dr. Jahanzaib Sohail, reviewed progress, addressed implementation challenges, and discussed the possibility of additional financing. Secretary P&D Board, Mr. Rafaqat Ali, reiterated that the population sector is a top priority of the Government of Punjab and appreciated the PFPP team’s efforts under PD Capt (R) Usman Ali Khan, which were acknowledged as satisfactory by the World Bank. The participants included DG Population Welfare Capt. (R) Aurangzeb Haider, Sr. Chief Health Ms. Uzma Hafeez, Sr. Chief ECA Mr. Waheed Asghar, and other officers.
