The 29th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), chaired by Chairman P&D Board Dr. Naeem Rauf, approved 24 development schemes and 6 position papers in the sectors of Higher Education, Governance, and Local Government. ✅ Higher Education CM Initiative for Establishment of New Colleges – Rs. 7,457.49m Establishment/Upgradation of Sub-Campuses of Universities – Rs. 2,000m ✅ Governance & IT (Position Papers) Punjab Archives Digitization (Phase III) eBIZ Portal for Business Facilitation Punjab e-Commerce Initiative CM IT Internship Program Capacity Building of PMRU (I&C Wing, S&GAD) Development of Online Statistical System ✅ Local Govt Punjab Development Program for the improvement of sewerage, drainage, street pavements, and allied works in 23 cities, including Chichawatni, Lodhran, Mian Channu, Kamalia, Tandlianwala, Hasilpur, Mailsi, Kot Addu, Pasrur, Shakargarh, Hazro, Ferozewala, Bhalwal, Narowal, Muridke, Renala Khurd, Kabirwala, Sarai Sidhu, Chak Jhumra, Pattoki, Depalpur, Abdul Hakim, and Ali Pur Chatha Estimated Cost: Rs. 124,603.051m 👥 The meeting was attended by Secretary P&D Board Mr. Rafaqat Ali, Secretary Education Mr. Ghulam Farid, Secretary LG Mr. Shakeel Ahmad, Chief Economist Mr. Masood Anwar, Members P&D, and other senior officers.
