Member Health, P&D Board, Mr. Shafaat Ali, presided over a meeting regarding the scheme “Procurement of Linear Accelerator for Allied Hospital, Faisalabad.” 🎯 Objectives of the Scheme: ✅ Provide advanced radiotherapy treatment & healthcare facilities to over 30 million people of Faisalabad, Sahiwal & Sargodha divisions. ✅ Enhance teaching standards for 400 MBBS students in Radiotherapy (Oncology) at Punjab Medical College / Faisalabad Medical University. ✅ Improve postgraduate training of FCPS / DMRT / MD students in Radiotherapy. ✅ Upgrade cancer treatment facilities in line with the latest international standards. Member Health, P&DB, Mr. Shafaat Ali, stressed that “equipping hospitals with modern radiotherapy technology is vital to ensure timely, effective, and accessible cancer treatment for the people of Punjab.” The Chair recommended the scheme for approval from the PDWP.
