𝐀𝐅𝐃 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐏&𝐃 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝

Chairman P&D Board Dr. 𝐍𝐚𝐞𝐞𝐦 𝐑𝐚𝐮𝐟 held a meeting with Mr. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜-𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐪, Country Director of AFD, at the P&D Board to review the progress of ongoing and pipeline projects funded by AFD. The projects under discussion included: 1️⃣ Babu Sabu Wastewater Treatment Plant 2️⃣ Punjab Urban Water & Wastewater Services Improvement Project 3️⃣ Heritage & Urban Re-Generation Project 4️⃣ FEXTE Air Pollution – Air Quality & Solid Waste Management Project Chairman P&D Board Dr. Naeem Rauf highlighted that these projects hold immense significance for urban development, environmental sustainability, and heritage preservation in Punjab. He stressed that executing departments must ensure timely achievement of targets, while assuring AFD of the Government’s commitment to remove hurdles and fast-track execution. 🤝 Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening collaboration in areas of urban infrastructure, environment, and sustainable development for the betterment of Punjab’s citizens.
