The PDWP Approves Six Development Schemes Worth Rs. 30 Billion & 80 Crores

The 36th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), chaired by Chairman P&D Board, Dr. Naeem Rauf, approved six development schemes amounting to Rs. 30.8 billion in the Roads & Bridges and Urban Development sectors. The approved schemes include: 1️⃣ Dualization of road from THQ Qadirabad (Gunjial) to THQ Nurpur, District Khushab. 2️⃣ Reconstruction and rehabilitation of key link roads in District Faisalabad. 3️⃣ Improvement and widening of multiple roads connecting Chishtian, Shehar Farid, and Bahawalnagar. 4️⃣ Upgradation of Pansota Chowk–Fort Abbas Road (Phase I), District Bahawalnagar. 5️⃣ CM’s Punjab Cities Development Program: Provision of Sewerage, Storm Water, and Water Supply System in Gujrat City (Zone-A). 6️⃣ CM’s Punjab Cities Development Program: Provision of Sewerage, Storm Water, and Water Supply System in Gujrat City (Zone-B). The meeting was attended by Secretary P&D Board, Mr. Rafaqat Ali, Chief Economist, Mr. Masood Anwar, Members P&D, and other senior officers.
