The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved Four development schemes of various development sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 3897.558 Million.
These schemes were approved in the 19th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2015-16 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. All members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
According to spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included:
- Widening/improvement of road from Iqbal Nagar to Dulwan, length: 26.00 km in Khanewal at the cost of PKR. 355.821 Million
- Construction of bridge over River Indus near Miran Pur on Linking N-55 at Arbi Tibba with R.Y. Khan length: 4000 Rft, R.Y. Khan at the cost of PKR. 3015.785
- Construction of road from Jamilabad to Multan Airport, length: 1.13 km, Multan at the cost of PKR. 291.947
- Development of park and completion of basement for car parking at Doongi Ground, M.M. Alam Road, Lahore at the cost of PKR. 234.005 Million
