The Provincial Development Working Party Punjab approved six development schemes of various development sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 5053.113 Million.
These schemes were approved in the 32nd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2014-15 presided over by the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman, Muhammad Irfan Elahi, says P&D Spokesman. Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
According to Spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included:
- Restructuring–reorganization of breeding services in Punjab at the cost of PKR. 752.125 Million
- Construction of Sialkot Ring Road, Sialkot, length: 55 km (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 90.000 Million
- Dualization of Gujranwala-Sialkot Road (Section Daska-Sialkot) 21/87 RD 0+00Â to 47/60 RD 844+00 (length: 25.73 km) in District Sialkot (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 3076.352 Million,
- Widening/improvement of road from Chak No.259/RB Ghorosir to Chak No.272/RB Pul Kahana, length: 16.90 km, District Faisalabad (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 208.208 Million
- Widening/improvement of Khushab Muzaffar Garh Road Section from 18-Hazari to Adda Daina More km No.141.68 to 179.73 length: 38.05 km, District Jhang (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 571.217 Million
- Widening/improvement of Rawalpindi Kahuta Road (Section Ari Syedan to Kahuta, lenght: 13 km) District Rawalpindi (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 355.211 Million
