The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved two development schemes of development sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 374.482 Million.
The schemes were approved in the 7th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
According to spokesman for P&DD, the approved development scheme included:
- The scheme of Physical Planning and Housing Sector Feasibility Study and Design for sewerage/drainage scheme Zahir Pir, R.Y. Khan. (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 15.877 Million
- Irrigation sector scheme of establishment of Strategic Planning/Reform Unit (SPRU) in Irrigation Department (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 358.605 Million
