The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved Two development schemes of Urban Development & Mines & Mineral Sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 123.04 Million.
These schemes were approved in the 35th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17. Provincial Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
According to spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included:
- Urban Development scheme of Feasibility Study and detailed design for signal free movement at Liaquat Bagh and Marrir Chowk, Rawalpindi (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 10 Million
- Mines & Minerals Sector Scheme titled Rock Salt Potential Blocks Delineation in Salt Range, Punjab (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 113.04 Million
