The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved three development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 1291.228 Million.
These schemes were approved in the 55th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Provincial Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included:
- Widening/improvement of road from Vanike Tarrar to Chak Bhatti Turn via Behak Ahmed Yar, Thatha Bahma and Narowal i/c link Lenght: 27.40 km, District Hafizabad at the cost of PKR. 640.568 Million, Chief Minister e-Rozgar Training Program at the cost of PKR. 560.66 Million
- Scooty for working women Pilot Project CM’s initiatives at the cost of PKR. 90.000 Million
