The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved four development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 1298.325 Million.
These schemes were approved in the 59th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided by the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included:
- Construction of various development schemes (7 Nos.) for District Hafizabad at the cost of PKR. 90.268 Million
- Construction of 3 connecting roads to Village Kolo Tarrar, Lenght: 3.25 km in District Hafizabad at the cost of PKR. 45.633 Million
- Widening and improvement of road from MDA Chowk to Dera Adda Chowk Multan (Dual Carriageway) at the cost of PKR. 574.721 Million
- Construction of flyover at Jhal Road Railway Crossing to Sahiwal City at the cost of PKR. 587.703 Million
