The Punjab PDWP Approved Three Development Schemes of Various Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved three development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 2482.48 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 46th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Provincial Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.       

The approved development schemes included:

  • Construction of under passes at Kashmir Bridge along canal, Faisalabad at the cost of PKR. 1257.577 Million
  • Pilot Urban Rehabilitation & Infrastructure Improvement Project Package-IV from Chowk Purani Kotwali to Sonehri Masjid via Dabbi Bazaar at the cost of PKR. 540.224 Million
  • Restoration of J-Head Spur No.3 between Dhingana and Doaba Village and construction of J-Head Spur at RD: 35+600 on left bank of River Indus near Village Doaba, Mianwali at the cost of PKR. 684.679 Million
